India Energy Week 2027 takes place at the New Town Convention Centre in Kolkata from 28 to 31 January 2027. The flagship energy event of the Indian government is organised by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, with Informa as conference organiser, and is customarily opened by the Prime Minister.
The 2027 edition moves to Kolkata after earlier editions in Goa and New Delhi. Some search listings still show the earlier Goa venue and 27 to 30 January dates; the official site now states 28 to 31 January 2027 at the New Town Convention Centre, and executives should plan on the official dates.
India Energy Week has become one of the largest energy gatherings in Asia, with the organiser citing tens of thousands of visitors and participation from more than 120 countries. Its programme spans oil and gas, refining and petrochemicals, gas and LNG, renewables, hydrogen, biofuels and the finance and policy that connect them. The chief executives of national and international energy companies, including in recent editions TotalEnergies, ADNOC, ONGC and Indian Oil, have used the ministerial and leadership sessions to announce partnerships and investment.
For boards and senior executives in energy, the event is the principal annual venue for engaging the Indian government and its state owned energy companies on supply, investment and policy. Gulf producers regard India as their most important growth market for crude, LNG and petrochemicals, and Gulf national oil company leadership is typically present. Executives in engineering, shipping, trading and finance serving the Indian energy sector will treat the week as a fixed point in the calendar.
