Maqbool bin Salim Al Wahaibi is chief executive officer of Otech, the technology company established by Omantel to consolidate the group's information and communications technology businesses. He was appointed to the role in September 2026, having served as acting chief executive officer since the company was launched in February 2026. Before Otech he was chief executive officer of Oman Data Park.
