Eric Rosenblum

Xora Innovation, the Singapore-based early-stage venture capital firm backed by sovereign wealth fund Temasek, has appointed Eric Rosenblum as general partner, the firm announced April 8. Based in Silicon Valley, Rosenblum will lead the firm's expansion into the US market and accelerate investments across AI infrastructure, Applied AI, and deep tech sectors. The appointment marks a strategic move to strengthen Xora's stateside presence as capital flows intensify into artificial intelligence and hardware-software infrastructure.

Phil Inagaki, managing partner and chief investment officer at Xora, described Rosenblum as possessing a rare combination of credentials: building software at major technology companies, founding and exiting startups, and succeeding as a venture investor. The firm noted that Rosenblum brings deep trust from founders and domain expertise spanning both AI software and hardware layers. Xora cited strong momentum in its existing portfolio, including the acquisition of Celestial AI by Marvell Technology and investments in Amperesand, Bedrock Robotics, Rhoda AI, Upscale AI, and Vinci, as context for the expansion.

Rosenblum joins from Foothill Ventures, where he served as managing partner and helped build the Los Altos, California-based firm into a leading early-stage deep tech investor. His investment track record spans semiconductors, energy systems, and industrial automation. Before turning to venture capital, Rosenblum held senior product leadership roles at Google and Palantir Technologies, where he led product management for cybersecurity and anti-money laundering tools. He was also chief operating officer and vice president of product at Drawbridge, a big data analytics company acquired by LinkedIn, and founded and led SmartPay, one of China's first private payment companies, which was sold to Ping'an Group in 2011. Rosenblum holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and an undergraduate degree from Harvard University.

Xora Innovation operates as the early-stage investment arm of Temasek, Singapore's state-owned investment firm with a portfolio valued at USD 521 billion as of May 2026. Founded in 2019 as a joint venture between Temasek and Singapore's National Research Foundation, Xora invests primarily in seed and Series A rounds across AI infrastructure, applied AI, and deep tech. The firm manages approximately USD 300 million in assets and maintains offices in Singapore with a global investment perspective. Its core investment team brings over 60 years of combined experience as startup founders and leaders, and the firm emphasizes providing operational support and strategic guidance beyond capital deployment to portfolio companies navigating complex, high-stakes sectors.

Rosenblum's move to Xora signals Temasek's commitment to strengthening its US venture presence at a critical moment for AI and deep tech investment. His combination of product experience at Google and Palantir, operational leadership in successful startups, and proven ability to identify early-stage deep tech opportunities positions him well to source and support category-defining companies in fast-moving categories like AI infrastructure. The appointment also reflects competition among sovereign wealth-backed venture vehicles to build credible US teams led by operators with authentic founder and investor credentials. Whether Rosenblum's hiring signals broader expansion plans at Xora, including additional US hires, remains unclear, though the firm's emphasis on expanding stateside presence suggests a substantive commitment to deepening its access to early-stage AI and deep tech deals in Silicon Valley.
