Fahad Salem Al-Matrafi

Fahad Salem Al-Matrafi was appointed Chairman of the Board of GASCO in July 2026, taking on additional roles as Chairman of the Executive and Investment Committee, and member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee. Al-Matrafi holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from KFUPM (completed 1995) and an Executive MBA from KFUPM (2004-2006).

Starting in 1995 with IBN ZAHR (SABIC), Al-Matrafi held various roles including MTBE Production Engineer/Manager, PP Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Planning & Economic Manager. In 2008, he joined Advanced Petrochemical Company where he held multiple positions including Operation GM, Marketing GM, Supply Chain GM, Technical GM, Vice President Technical Operations, and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer.
