Refresco, the independent beverage solutions provider based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, has appointed Minsok Pak as President, Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer. The newly created role took effect on July 15, 2026 and was announced by the company on July 16, 2026.

Pak joins Refresco's Executive Committee and reports to Chief Executive Officer Steve Presley. He will lead the company's global enterprise strategy and its mergers and acquisitions agenda, and will oversee a transformation programme spanning operational performance and commercial effectiveness. The mandate is tied to Refresco's ambition to strengthen its position as an independent supply-chain partner able to serve beverage brands, retailers and private-label customers across categories and regions.

Pak brings around 35 years of experience in consumer-facing industries. Most recently he served as Chief Executive Officer of CJ CheilJedang Foods, described as the largest food company in Korea, where he led a business generating more than 9 billion dollars in revenue across more than 75 markets. He also served on the board of Primo Brands before joining Refresco.

Earlier in his career, Pak was Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Mondelez International from 2020 to 2022, and Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at Target Corporation from 2017 to 2020. He also held a senior role at The LEGO Group, overseeing branded retail and channel development, and spent more than two decades as a senior partner at McKinsey and Company, advising consumer and retail businesses across the United States, Asia and Europe.

Commenting on the appointment, Presley said Refresco had built a strong global platform serving the beverage industry across brands, retailers and categories, and that Pak had spent his career leading large-scale strategy and transformation at companies operating at comparable scale. He said Pak brought a track record of creating long-term value along with deep experience in mergers and acquisitions and operations, and was well suited to lead the business at an important stage in its growth.

Pak said the beverage industry was changing faster than at any point in a generation, with brands increasingly outsourcing production, private label taking structural share, and new categories scaling quickly. He said Refresco's platform was positioned to capture that demand through its scale, flexibility and customer relationships, and that he looked forward to helping shape the company's next phase.

Pak holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics, with honors, from Oberlin College, where he served on the Board of Trustees.
