As part of its ambitious growth strategy in the Middle East, Chestertons MENA has named Benjamin Cullum as the new Head of Valuations and Advisory. This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to providing cutting-edge real estate solutions and reinforcing its position as a leader in the valuation sector.

Cullum brings a wealth of expertise, with over 14 years of experience in the Middle East across diverse sectors such as retail, office spaces, industrial, and hospitality. His impressive track record includes key roles in valuations, strategic consultancy, development consultancy, and asset management. His career has spanned several prominent organizations, including Hamptons International, where he served as General Manager in Oman, and Cluttons, where he held senior positions in both Bahrain and the UK.

In his new capacity, Cullum will focus on expanding the Chestertons advisory team to meet the surging demand for valuation services across the region. A Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), Cullum’s appointment comes at a time when the company is positioning itself to cater to the growing needs of investors, developers, and financial institutions in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and North Africa.

“I am thrilled to be joining Chestertons during such an exciting period of growth,” Cullum said. “With the company’s bold expansion plans, I look forward to collaborating with the team to deliver world-class valuation services that exceed client expectations and further cement Chestertons as a market leader.”

Simone Dobson, Chief Operating Officer at Chestertons MENA, expressed her enthusiasm for Cullum’s appointment, stating, “We are pleased to welcome Ben to our leadership team. His deep understanding of the regional market and vast expertise in valuations will be pivotal as we continue to broaden our service offering and expand our reach across the Middle East.”

Dobson highlighted that Cullum’s arrival strengthens Chestertons' long-standing reputation for excellence in real estate consultancy. “Ben will be instrumental in ensuring our valuation and advisory services continue to set the standard in the industry,” she added.

Chestertons MENA has been a key player in the region for nearly 16 years, employing over 175 professionals across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. In the past year alone, the company has significantly expanded, doubling its Dubai presence and establishing a new office in Riyadh, KSA, in early 2023. With Cullum on board, Chestertons aims to accelerate its expansion and provide an even more comprehensive suite of valuation, advisory, and research services.
