First Abu Dhabi Bank appointed Chris Jaques as Group Chief Risk Officer on 5th August 2024. With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to FAB following various leadership roles in risk management, income derivatives trading and multi-asset fund management.
Chris joins FAB following an 11-year tenure at Deutsche Bank, where he most recently served as Chief Risk Officer for the UK and Ireland, and Global Head of Enterprise Risk Management. Before this he was Chief Investment Officer at Eden Financial and has also held roles with Bank of Montreal, Infiniti Capital and Merrill Lynch amongst others.
