Zaid Mirza

Zaid Mirza was appointed Global Director for the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region at the Mercosul Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI), underscoring the organization's commitment to strengthening economic ties between the two regions. Mirza brings extensive background in consulting and lobbying across various sectors, positioning him uniquely to bridge Mercosul and MENA markets where bilateral business relations have reached $25.7 billion.

Educated in the United States and Europe, Mirza has spent over a decade in South America, where his father served as the Ambassador of Jordan to Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, and Honduras. Mirza is a BJJ black belt under World Champion Cassio Werneck and has developed BJJ and MMA in the kingdom of Jordan for the past decade. He has a chain of successful BJJ/MMA schools, homegrown black belts, and a successful MMA promotion called Desert Force.
