Toon Gyssels

Toon Gyssels was appointed Chief Executive Officer of talabat, the MENA region's leading on-demand delivery platform, formally assuming the position on November 21, 2025. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer at talabat and brings a wealth of experience in the MENA region.

Gyssels brings a wealth of transformation and scale-up experience, starting out in advisory and consulting at McKinsey & Company before moving to scale-ups in the MENA region. He holds a Master in Industrial Management from KU Leuven (2008) and an Executive Master in Finance from Solvay Business School (2010). Originally from Belgium, he began his career as a civil engineer before moving to McKinsey & Co in Antwerp.

At Kitopi, he developed a track record of driving operational capabilities, delivering year-on-year growth, and launching new business lines.
