Richard Morgan

Overview

Richard Morgan was appointed Regional Managing Director for the IMEA region in 2023, following A.P. Moller-Maersk's integration of West & Central Asia and Africa markets. Based in the United Arab Emirates, Morgan leads one of Maersk's most strategically significant regions, encompassing core markets including India, Pakistan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Nigeria, Senegal, and Ghana.

Morgan has spent more than 30 years in the freight forwarding, liner shipping, and supply chain industries, with 15 of those years at Maersk. Originally from Ireland, he has held regional and global supply chain and commercial roles within Maersk, most recently as global chief commercial officer of Damco, a Maersk Company.

Richard Morgan holds an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from London Business School. Additionally, he completed professional development at Harvard Business School Online and IMD in 2016.
