Peter Fellman

Peter Fellman was born on October 8, 1963, in Jakobstad, Finland, and is a respected voice in Swedish business journalism. He holds a master's degree in education (pedagogie magister) from Åbo Akademi University's Vasa campus.

Fellman began his media career at Rundradion in Vasa, Finska Notisbyrån in Helsinki, and Jakobstads Tidning. After working as editor at Jakobstads Tidning, he moved to Stockholm and quickly became news chief at Reuters after starting as a reporter. Since 1999, Fellman has worked at Dagens industri, where he served as editor-in-chief from 2009-2015, and from 2015 to 2018 was a U.S. correspondent based in New York. He returned as editor-in-chief in August 2018.

With over 15 years as editor-in-chief of Sweden's largest business newspaper, Fellman established himself as a visionary leader in digital transformation. In 2024, he received the Digital Honorary Award for his ability to navigate digital challenges and maintain Dagens industri's leading role in Swedish media. Currently, he is editor-in-chief of Dagens industri, the Swedish financial newspaper founded in 1976.
