Mohammed El-Kuwaiz

Mohammed A. El-Kuwaiz was appointed as the Chairman of the board of the Capital Market Authority (CMA) of Saudi Arabia in July 2017. Prior to being Chairman, Mr. El-Kuwaiz was the Vice Chairman of the board of the CMA since August 2016. Under his leadership, the CMA has prioritized regulatory modernization aligned with Vision 2030, including developing a regulatory framework for green, social and sustainable debt instruments and advancing Saudi Arabia's fintech landscape.
