Mohamed Ahmed AlSada

Mohamed Ahmed AlSada was appointed Chairman of DANAT in July 2026, leading the Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones as it enters its next phase of growth. AlSada brings extensive leadership experience in alternative investments and market development across the Gulf Cooperation Council region. On his appointment, he expressed his pride in chairing DANAT's Board of Directors, noting the Institute's distinguished position in specialized scientific expertise and its role in supporting the pearl and gemstone sector locally and internationally.

• Head of Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar Markets at Investcorp (2008-present)
• Capital formation specialist at Gulf Finance House, focusing on large-scale urban development and infrastructure projects across the MENA region (4 years)
• Senior roles at Unicorn Bank and Arab Banking Corporation
• Board Member of Tazweed, the distribution division of BAPCO Energies

AlSada holds an MBA in Management of Operations Technology and a BSc in Finance and Business Management, both from Bentley University in Massachusetts. He is also currently a regional Board Member of INJAZ Al Arab, the MENA affiliate of Junior Achievement Worldwide.
