Michael S. Bishop

Michael S. Bishop was appointed Executive Vice President in June 2019 and served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since June 2011. He brings more than 20 years of experience in financial operations and management with public high-growth technology companies, with a focus on capital raising, project finance, debt/treasury management, investor relations, strategic planning, internal controls, and organizational development.

Bishop joined FuelCell Energy in 2003 as Assistant Controller and was promoted to Corporate Controller in 2004. He served as Vice President and Controller since 2007, responsible for the Company's financial reporting and accounting operations. He also served as Corporate Secretary until April 2017.

Bishop is a certified public accountant and received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Boston University (1993) and an MBA from the University of Connecticut (1999). He also served four years in the United States Marine Corps.
