Michael Jacobi

Michael Jacobi joined Hayfield Family Collection as Managing Director in late 2021, overseeing a family-owned collection of luxury Irish hotel properties. Jacobi brings over 25 years of experience within the hospitality industry working across diverse and multi-cultural work environments.

Michael hails from Frankfurt, Germany, and has held numerous leadership positions at noteworthy properties, including Regional Director Baltics & Sweden of the Radisson Hotel Group. He also held the position of Deputy General Manager at the former Great Southern Hotel in Dublin.

Since joining the family-owned business as managing director in late 2021, Jacobi has overseen one of the most transformative periods in the company's history, including strategic repositioning of the existing portfolio and significant investments in properties and operations. Jacobi has prioritized corporate social responsibility, establishing partnerships with charities including Breakthrough Cancer Research and environmental organizations. He has been instrumental in advancing sustainability initiatives, partnering with Irish reforestation organisations.
