Linos Lekkas

Pantelis (Linos) Lekkas serves as Group Head of Investment Banking & Markets at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), leading the bank's investment banking and capital markets operations as part of a major restructuring announced in March 2025. His appointment represents a significant addition to FAB's senior dealmaking leadership as the UAE's largest bank strengthens its investment banking capabilities.

Prior to joining FAB, Lekkas held senior leadership roles at Citi, including Vice Chairman of Investment Banking for Europe and the Middle East, and Head of Corporate Banking and Investment Banking for Citibank Europe Plc. During his tenure, he had overarching responsibility for corporate and investment banking activities across key regions such as Continental Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Earlier in his career, Lekkas held investment banking leadership roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, initially covering Greece and Cyprus, before expanding his remit to include Southeast Europe.

Lekkas holds a BSc (First Class Honours) in Business Economics from Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London, and an MPhil (Merit) in Finance from Robinson College, Cambridge University. He moved into banking after completing military service in Greece.
