Kelley Gilmore

Kelley Gilmore is a 22-year veteran of the gaming industry with over 40 published titles. She served as founding Global Studio Head when 2K established Cloud Chamber on December 9, 2019, making her the first woman in 2K history to lead a development studio. Cloud Chamber, based in Novato, California and Montréal, Québec, was established to develop the next entry in the BioShock series.

Gilmore came to Cloud Chamber as a former executive producer for Firaxis Games, another 2K-owned studio. Her background encompasses nearly two decades at Firaxis working on franchises such as Sid Meier's Civilization and XCOM, with expertise spanning executive production, marketing direction and public relations management. Before joining Firaxis Games in 1999, she was a partner at KGM Communications, Inc., a public relations agency focused on high-tech industries.

Gilmore graduated from the University of Richmond with a degree in business marketing and has worked across multiple industries including marketing, entertainment, sports, health, and publishing. At Cloud Chamber's founding, she articulated the studio's mission to "create yet-to-be-discovered worlds – and their stories within – that push the boundaries of what is possible in the video game medium".
