Kate Burke

Kate Burke is Chief Executive Officer of Allspring Global Investments and director on the Board of Directors at Allspring Global Investments. Allspring is a global asset management firm with $600 billion in assets under advisement. Prior to her current role, Kate served as the president of Allspring after joining the firm in September 2023.

She joined Allspring from AllianceBernstein, where she most recently served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer. Before that, Kate was head of Bernstein Private Wealth and chief administrative officer. She has also served as head of human capital and chief talent officer for the firm. At AllianceBernstein, she was responsible for overseeing all corporate functions of the firm, including strategy, global technology and operations, quantitative research and data science, human capital and administrative services, legal and compliance, and finance.

Burke took on massive projects such as AllianceBernstein's headquarters transition from New York to Nashville, Tennessee, which included relocating hundreds of employees and hiring, onboarding and training over 160 recruits at the new location, all in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. During the past year, Burke launched an HBCU scholars program to encourage diverse talent at the firm; helped increase gross sales in private wealth by 27% year-over-year in 2021; and oversaw 10 product launches within private wealth.

Kate earned a bachelor's degree in economics from College of the Holy Cross and a master's degree in business administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
