Jorge Navea

Jorge Navea was appointed President of Al-Futtaim Automotive in February 2026, bringing over 30 years of international leadership experience across OEMs, distribution, and mobility services. Spanish-born Jorge is tasked with accelerating growth and delivering transformative customer experiences across Al-Futtaim's automotive division during a period of rapid industry transformation.

Most recently, he served as CEO of Astara, where he led the company's transformation into a global, technology-enabled mobility group operating across mature and high-growth markets. During his tenure at Astara, Navea played a pivotal role for more than 20 years in the company's evolution, leading the transformation of Bergé Automoción into what is now Astara. Previously, he was CEO of Berge Auto, driving its evolution from a family-owned Spanish automotive distributor into a global mobility group with operations across Europe and Latin America and a turnover exceeding €5 billion.

Jorge has also held senior management positions at Kia Motors Europe and Toyota Motor Europe and was founder and CEO of the e-learning start-up Aulatina.com. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and Business Administration from Deusto University (Spain) and is an active member of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) and World Presidents' Organization (WPO).
