H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. Born in August 1986, he is the second of UAE President Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan's four sons and is married to Sheikha Latifa bint Hamdan Al Nahyan. Throughout his career, Sheikh Theyab has developed significant expertise in infrastructure, development, and philanthropic leadership across the UAE's public and private sectors.

In his current role, Sheikh Theyab serves as Chair of Board of Trustees of Erth Zayed Philanthropies, the strategic umbrella entity for the UAE's philanthropic foundations including Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, Emirates Foundation, and Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund. Erth Zayed Philanthropies is set to bring together all existing philanthropic organizations in the UAE to oversee a diverse array of programs across multiple sectors. He has approved allocations of AED 100 million from Erth Zayed Philanthropies to strategic humanitarian initiatives including support for individuals with chronic illnesses.

Sheikh Theyab also serves as Chairman of the Office of Development and Martyrs Families Affairs at the Presidential Court, with the rank of Minister, since October 6, 2023. His other major positions include Head of the Arab Youth Center since August 11, 2022, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Etihad Rail Company, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Transport Company since March 2023. He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of Mubadala Investment Company.
