Ghannam Butti Al Mazrouei was appointed Chairman of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) by ADQ, the Abu Dhabi-based investment and holding company. Al Mazrouei earned his Bachelor of Financial Business Administration from Suffolk University in 1998 and a master's degree in economics from Boston University in 2000.

In addition to his role as Chairman, Al Mazrouei is the Secretary General of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council, where he oversees an AED 24 billion program to increase participation of UAE nationals in the private sector. He also serves on the boards of Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions & Benefit Fund and AafaQ Islamic Finance.

Al Mazrouei is the Director of Human Capital & Administration at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) since September 2016. His previous positions include Senior Vice President of the Support Service Function at Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operations Ltd (ADCO), Chief Financial Officer at ADCO, Manager of the Group Financing Department at ADNOC, and Head of CSD Registry Services at Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
