Gagan Suri

Gagan Suri was named Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Marina Development Company effective April 1, 2026, leading one of the Kingdom's most significant waterfront developments through its final construction phase and operational launch. Suri brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience in large-scale urban development, infrastructure delivery, and real estate investment across the Middle East, Europe, and North America. The India-born-and-raised executive first moved to the United States to pursue his undergraduate degree before switching careers from hospitality to finance.

He holds a degree in Strategic Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a PGDBA from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies. Suri has resided in the Kingdom of Bahrain for over a decade and brings direct expertise in waterfront and mixed-use development from his tenure in the Gulf region.

• Executive Director and Head of Development at Oxagon, an advanced industrial and port ecosystem on the Red Sea designed for next-generation manufacturing, logistics, and global supply chains
• Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Bahrain Bay Development, where he transformed Bahrain Bay into a premier mixed-use waterfront district with residential, hospitality, commercial, and retail assets
• Senior leadership roles at Arcapita, Saudi National Bank Capital, Credit Suisse, and Capmark Finance, gaining extensive experience in real estate investment, infrastructure financing, and large-scale development projects
• Earlier experience includes Vice President at Credit Suisse, Vice Head of Real Estate at Saudi National Bank, Fund Vice President for Real Estate at Global Investment House, and roles in hospitality at Le Meridien and World of Hyatt
