Dr. Rosheen McGuckian

Dr. Rosheen McGuckian was appointed to the Board of Grafton Group plc on 1 January 2020 and was appointed Senior Independent Director with effect from 21 October 2025. McGuckian has been CEO of NTR plc since 2013. At Grafton, she is considered independent in character and free from conflicts of interest, fulfilling the board's governance requirements for senior leadership.

Since joining NTR in 2008, McGuckian has held a number of leadership positions, including Group Business Development Director and CEO positions in solar development, energy storage, water treatment, and waste management platforms within the group. Under her leadership, NTR negotiated a corporate power purchase agreement with AIB Group, contributing to Ireland's Climate Action Plan target of 15% of electricity demand met by renewable generators by 2030. Recently, the company purchased a 105-MWp solar project in County Galway, Ireland, from renewable energy firm RES.
