Dave Porter has been appointed Managing Director of Harris Bus & Coach, bringing almost 40 years of experience spanning manufacture, customer service, operations, sales and senior leadership roles in the bus and coach sector. As Managing Director, Porter will spearhead Harris Bus & Coach's plans for Higer in both the UK and Ireland markets, leading continued investment in the dealer networks, strengthening customer relationships and ensuring the business delivers exceptional support for operators.

• Volvo: progressed through ranks, ultimately leading UK and Ireland coach sales operations

Porter brings over three decades of experience in the coach market, with extensive experience across premium coaches, zero-emission technologies and the introduction of new products into the UK market. At Wrightbus, his arrival formed part of the manufacturer's efforts to develop and deliver a long-range hydrogen fuel cell-electric coach.
