Chris Karkenny is chief executive officer of GT Independence, the Sturgis, Michigan company that provides financial management services for self-directed care. He has more than 25 years of leadership experience, most of it in healthcare.
He was chief executive officer of NVISION Eye Centers from 2018, and before that executive vice president and chief financial officer of Apria Healthcare. He earlier held leadership positions at PacifiCare Health Systems and Coram Infusion Services. He holds a BSBA from the University of Richmond and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
