Brad Poterack

Brad Poterack was appointed President of LakeHouse Senior Living in October 2026, advancing from his role as Chief Operating Officer, a position he has held since joining Discovery Senior Living in 2023. Poterack brings more than 25 years of experience as a solution-minded leader with proven success across retail and senior living industries.

He began his career in retail with Marshall Fields, followed by 13 years at Macy's where he was a District Vice President responsible for sales, P&L, executive development, and customer experience across a 22-store district with 3,000 employees and $700 million in annual sales. After his sons graduated college, he transitioned to the senior living industry and joined Enlivant, where he served as Senior Vice President of Operations with oversight across 122 assisted living communities in 10 states.

Since joining Discovery in 2023, Poterack was instrumental in the launch of LakeHouse, building an expert leadership team and scaling its operating platform. Under his leadership, LakeHouse today operates 34 communities across five states and has outperformed the market in occupancy while delivering sustained growth in revenue and NOI. Poterack is a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in business management.
