Ammar Taleb Hajeyah

Ammar Taleb Hajeyah is Chief Investment Officer of Gulf Capital Investment Company, the InvestGB investment arm of Kuwait based Gulf Bank, effective 4 May 2026. He has more than 21 years of experience in the financial and investment services sector and currently serves as an independent board member of the Higher Committee of the Insurance Regulatory Unit.

Hajeyah played a pivotal role in the establishment of InvestGB, contributing to business planning, the design of operational and governance frameworks, the transition of business lines and the development of the company's target operating model in line with regulatory requirements and the bank's strategic objectives. He joined the role from Gulf Bank, where he was Acting General Manager of Investments, and before that spent 14 years at Global Investment House as Senior Vice President, MENA Asset Management. He has held senior leadership roles and board positions across local, regional and governmental entities.
