Ammar Ahmed Saleh Shatta is the Founder and Chairman of Alkhabeer Capital, a fully licensed investment company established in 2008 with paid-up capital of SAR 0.9 billion and Assets Under Management exceeding SAR 8.5 billion. Based in Saudi Arabia, Shatta is educated at the University of Southern California and holds a Master's degree in Economic Planning from USC and CFA® charterholder credentials. He began his investment banking career in 1990 and has been instrumental in transforming conventional finance into Sharia-compliant financial products.

As a pioneer in Islamic strategic securities, Shatta developed the first asset-backed securities investment fund, the first real estate development investment fund, the first real estate income investment fund, and the first Islamic credit card in Saudi Arabia. He founded Shariyah Review Bureau in 2004, engineering the world's first professional independent Sharia assurance institution.
