The First Bancshares, Inc. was a Mississippi based bank holding company operating across the Gulf South. It was acquired by Renasant Corporation in a transaction completed on 1 April 2025 and valued at approximately $1.2 billion. At closing it had roughly $7.6 billion in assets.
