RAK Digital Assets Oasis (RAK DAO) is a dedicated Free Zone established to support and nurture digital assets companies innovating in new and emerging sectors of the future. The organization provides licensing and company formation services for digital and virtual asset businesses within a dedicated free zone, with assistance in opening bank accounts through partnerships with banking institutions. The company offers services to all Web3 business models, from metaverse and AI to mining, DAO, NFTs, Dapps, gaming, e-sports, and beyond.

The free zone was founded in 2023 and offers a regulatory framework that supports innovation and entrepreneurship in the digital and virtual asset sector, allowing companies to operate with streamlined processes as well as various benefits, such as 100% foreign ownership, tax exemptions, and fewer bureaucratic hurdles. RAK DAO introduced the DAO Association Regime 2024, a framework offering a robust legal structure tailored specifically for Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs).
