Investcorp is a Bahraini investment company based in Manama. Founded in Bahrain in 1982, the firm has 14 offices worldwide with offices in Bahrain, United States, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, India, China and additional locations. Investcorp's AUM has grown from $10 bn to over $60 bn in the past 10 years. The company leverages a dedicated team of 500 - 1,000 professionals.

Investcorp's traditional activity is private equity, including mid-size companies in North America, Western Europe and MENA including Turkey, as well as technology lower mid-cap investment. The past and present portfolio includes over 175 investments. In 2023, Investcorp acquired a 50% stake in the infrastructure business of the firm Corsair, creating a new joint entity, Investcorp Corsair, which focuses on a scalable investment strategy in transportation, logistics and broader infrastructure.

Recent Leadership Evolution

In 2024, Investcorp announced changes to its leadership team, with Mohammed Alardhi taking on further responsibilities as Executive Chairman, and Rishi Kapoor being appointed Vice Chairman and Chief Investment Officer, with investment activities reorganized under three business verticals: Private Equity, Real Assets, and Credit. In July 2025, Investcorp Capital appointed industry veteran Sana Khater as chief executive, effective September 1.
