Core42 was established in October 2023 through the merger of three existing G42 businesses: G42 Cloud, Inception, and Injazat. Core42 is headquartered in Abu Dhabi and serves a global clientele across the UAE, Europe, North America, India, and the Middle East.

The company focuses on sovereign cloud, advanced compute platforms, and hyperscale AI environments that support production-grade AI across sectors. Core42 provides a comprehensive suite of services, including scalable sovereign cloud solutions, AI cloud and High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure, applied AI research, cybersecurity, professional services, and managed services. One of its flagship products is Compass, a managed AI platform that provides access to leading AI models through a unified API.

Core42 has a diverse team of 1100+ employees representing 68 nationalities. The company has formed strategic partnerships with global technology leaders such as Microsoft, NVIDIA, AMD, Qualcomm, and Cerebras Systems to enhance its offerings. Most recently, Core42 established its European headquarters in Dublin in December 2025, and arranged two structured trade finance facilities with HSBC totaling $550 million to accelerate AI cloud and compute deployments across the United States and Europe, with the two tranches completed in February 2026 and May 2026.

Recent Leadership News

The company is led by CEO Kiril Evtimov, who also serves as the Group CTO for G42. Recent executive appointments include the appointment of former Google executive Emma Cloney to lead international expansion and the appointment of former Microsoft executive Sherif Tawfik as Chief Business Officer.
