What Lovette Russell could bring to Chair of Board of Trustees at Spelman College:

Russell's two decades of expertise in nonprofit strategy, board development, and major gift fundraising position her to advance Spelman's institutional priorities and external partnerships. Her demonstrated ability to mobilize Atlanta's philanthropic community and her deep commitment to educational access—particularly for underserved youth—align with Spelman's mission of preparing Black women leaders. Her service in crisis communication (through her work on hospital boards during health emergencies) and her proven track record of launching major capital campaigns could be instrumental in Spelman's future growth and sustainability initiatives.
