Ashhad Iqbal is the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Fujairah Building Industries PSC, a publicly listed UAE manufacturing conglomerate, while continuing to serve as General Manager of Fujairah Rockwool Factory, the group's flagship insulation subsidiary.
Iqbal holds a Master's degree from Karachi University and maintains fellow status with both the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). His career spans senior finance and operations roles at multinational building materials companies, including Country General Manager and Chief Financial Officer positions at Knauf Insulation. Prior to Knauf, he held multiple finance leadership roles at SinoGulf, and began his career as an auditor at EY.
His background combines financial discipline with operational leadership across building materials, insulation manufacturing, and industrial products in the Middle East and South Asia.
