Nuno Mantos

Nuno Matos was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) on 12 May 2025. He has more than 30 years' experience across retail, commercial and wholesale banking and was most recently CEO of Wealth and Personal Banking at HSBC. In that role he was responsible for 87,000 employees serving approximately 40 million customers across 35 markets.

Nuno holds a degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. He began his career as an analyst in the banking supervision department of Banco de Portugal.
