Benjamin Cavalli

Benjamin Cavalli is Head of Strategic Clients and Global Connectivity at UBS Global Wealth Management, a position created in July 2025 to enhance global connectivity for ultra-high-net-worth clients. He began his career in Export Finance at UBS in Switzerland in 1992 and headed Commodities, Structured Trade and Export Finance at UBS Investment Bank in Hong Kong from 1997 to 2000, before transitioning into wealth management.

Cavalli joined Credit Suisse in November 2009 as Head of Private Banking Singapore Market. He held the role of Head of Private Banking Southeast Asia and Head of Singapore Location from October 2014 to August 2018, and served as Head of Private Banking South Asia from August 2018 to December 2021 and as Singapore Chief Executive Officer from January 2017 to December 2021. He was subsequently appointed Head of Wealth Management Asia Pacific at Credit Suisse, where he drove the bank's client-focused strategy and expansion of private banking offerings across onshore and offshore markets in Asia.

Cavalli was appointed deputy to Iqbal Khan, head of UBS's Global Wealth Management, as his right-hand man, heading an elite team of private bankers serving UBS's strategic clients worldwide. He is considered among the most knowledgeable about Asia in Swiss Banking.
