Yahya Ismail

Yahya Ismail joined Standard Chartered Global Private Bank in May 2025 as Managing Director, Market Head for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), based in Dubai. He brings over 25 years of banking experience across corporate and private banking, having spent the last 20 years in private wealth management at Julius Baer and ABN AMRO. Specifically, he held senior roles including Head of Private Wealth Management during his tenure at these institutions.

Ismail holds a Diploma in Private Banking from INSEAD, completed between 2011-2013. Prior to his recent move to Standard Chartered, he also brings experience from previous roles at Mashreq Bank and Citibank Pakistan. His multidecade career spans both corporate and institutional banking sectors across the Middle East and Asia.
