Sunny Bhatia

Sunny Bhatia was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer of KIPCO (Kuwait Projects Company Holding) in April 2022. With more than 30 years of experience spanning across multiple financial services sectors, he led the Group's finance, treasury, and capital markets functions.

Bhatia holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University and has obtained Chartered Accountancy and Cost and Management Accountancy qualifications. He has worked with KPMG, Siemens and PricewaterhouseCoopers in various capacities.

During his tenure at KIPCO, Bhatia played a central role in advancing strategic initiatives, strengthening the Group's balance sheet, enhancing capital discipline, and proactively managing liabilities while supporting value creation across KIPCO's portfolio companies. KIPCO is an investment holding company operating across the GCC and wider MENA region, with presence in over 20 countries and total balance sheet footing in excess of US$37 billion.
