Kabir Chhatwani is Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Altea Partners, a privately-owned merchant banking firm founded in 2024. Based in Berlin, Germany, Chhatwani co-founded the firm alongside Henning Behre. Altea Partners operates as a merchant banking firm providing aligned capital and trusted advice to founders, families, and long-term investors across Europe, the Middle East, and North America.

Prior to founding Altea Partners, Chhatwani worked as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley, Barclays, and Citigroup, where he worked on over 100 M&A, equity, and debt transactions across diverse sectors including TMT, healthcare, consumer/retail, financial services, and industrials. His banking career spanned leading global financial institutions, building deep expertise in capital markets advisory.

Education

Chhatwani holds a master's degree in economics from the University of Maastricht. He also attended the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, one of Asia's leading business schools.
