Daniel Tuffin

Daniel Tuffin is an experienced hands-on mining engineer and co-founder and chairman of the mine consulting firm Auralia Mining Consulting. He has been the managing director and chief executive of Panther Metals since September 2021, as the company was pursuing a listing on the ASX.

Mr Tuffin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from the University of Ballarat, Bachelor of Science in Mining and Engineering Surveying from WASM, and a Diploma in Project Management. He is a Fellow and an accredited Chartered Professional with the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

His career began in iron ore and gold projects in WA and later extended internationally. He has established companies and mining projects, including co-founding private Kalgoorlie gold mining venture Rose Dam Resources, discovering and then privately co developing the RDSW open pit, which has produced over 30koz of gold. As the co founder of Roman Kings, he developed the nearby WA Crawford and Gambier Lass North Projects, later vending them into the Kingwest IPO (ASX: KWR) for $3.6m in scrip.
