He transitioned to investing in private equity deals in financial services, technology, agroindustry, and mining.

Career History

• Treasurer, United Mining Corporation (1980s) – NASDAQ-listed mining company
• Investment Banking and Corporate Finance roles at Rothschild and Merrill Lynch
• Private Equity Investor (current) – focus on financial services, technology, agroindustry, mining
• Corporate Secretary and Board Member, Quimbaya Gold Inc. (2024-2026)

What Solari could have brought to Quimbaya Gold: His deep experience in mining sector finance dating back to the 1980s, combined with 40 years in international banking at premier institutions (Rothschild, Merrill Lynch), positioned him to support Quimbaya's capital formation strategy. Solari had been invaluable to Quimbaya since inception, having raised most of its seed capital through his deep network and capital markets experience, and his venture capital background in mining made him a strategic resource during the company's exploration phase in Colombia.
