Danny Deep

Danny Deep is chief executive officer elect of General Dynamics, the Reston, Virginia aerospace and defence group, having been elected by the board on 7 October 2026 to take the role at the start of 2027. He is currently president of the company and a member of its board of directors. Deep is an operator by background, with a career built entirely inside General Dynamics' manufacturing businesses rather than in corporate functions.

Deep has been with General Dynamics for 25 years, serving in positions of increasing responsibility. He became president of the company in 2025, having previously served as executive vice president of global operations. Before that he was executive vice president of the combat systems group and president of General Dynamics Land Systems, the business that designs and builds armoured fighting vehicles for the United States Army and allied forces. He was elected to the General Dynamics board of directors earlier in 2026.
