Stephen Moss

Stephen Moss was appointed Group CEO of Commercial Bank in Doha in August 2025. The Englishman brings more than 30 years of international banking experience, including management oversight, executive leadership, and board responsibilities over the past decade in key growth markets in the Gulf and the wider Middle East region.

Moss is recognised for his ability to translate strategy into execution at scale, particularly in environments of structural change. He has a strong track record in designing and delivering complex transactions and transformation programmes, while maintaining focus on culture, conduct and long-term franchise value. Beyond banking, he is a Board Member of the Dubai International Chamber and serves on the Advisory Board of the Hong Kong Red Cross.

Education & Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Kent (1985–1988). Mr Moss is a qualified Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
