Husain Almohri

Husain Almohri was appointed Group Chief Executive – Markets & Client Solutions at the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) effective January 4, 2026. In this role, he oversees the Bank's markets, treasury, and capital markets businesses across all operating jurisdictions, driving strategic growth in regional and international markets, expanding NBB's capabilities across asset classes, and delivering client-centric investment and trading solutions.

With over two decades of banking experience, Almohri has built a distinguished career in trading, treasury management, and capital markets across the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey. He previously held several senior leadership positions at HSBC Investment Bank in Dubai, most recently serving as Managing Director – Head of Trading MENAT and Regional Head of MENA Markets, where he managed a wide range of asset classes including FX, rates, credit, financing, equities, and structuring, while overseeing Markets & Securities Services operations in Egypt, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Algeria. His career also includes senior roles at Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, Investcorp, and Ahli United Bank.
