IDS 2027, the International Dental Show, will be held at the Koelnmesse exhibition grounds from 16 to 20 March 2027. The biennial world leading trade fair for dental medicine and dental technology is organised by Koelnmesse with the GFDI, the commercial enterprise of the German dental industry association, and the organiser has already fixed IDS 2029 for 13 to 17 March 2029.
The show brings dozens of sectors under one roof, from dental practices and laboratories to hygiene, infection control and service solutions, with equipment, consumables, implants, digital dentistry and practice software presented by manufacturers from across the world.
The event matters to executives because dental technology is one of the most internationalised segments of the medical device industry, and IDS is where the chief executives of dental manufacturers, distributors and dental service organisations set their launch, distribution and acquisition plans for the two years that follow. Investors in dental chains and the heads of procurement at hospital and clinic groups attend.
Koelnmesse operates the exhibition grounds on the right bank of the Rhine in the Deutz district of Cologne.
