The Annual Meeting of Global Future Leaders 2026 will be held in Dubai from 13 to 15 October. The venue has not yet been announced on the World Economic Forum's meeting page. This is the inaugural edition, organised by the World Economic Forum in collaboration with the Government of the UAE.
The meeting is the Forum's new flagship gathering in Dubai, evolving from the Annual Meeting of the Global Future Councils. It convenes the Forum's leadership communities, ministers and chief executives around future-facing agendas, with Global Future Council members forming a core part of the participant base alongside heads of government and Forum partners.
For executives, the meeting places heads of government, Forum partner chief executives and council members in the same rooms for three days. Chief executives of Forum partner companies use it to shape the Forum's forward agendas, ministers use it to test policy ideas with global peers, and investors track the sessions for signals on technology, trade and governance priorities. Boards of companies with a Forum partnership will want their chief executive present.
Previous Global Future Councils meetings in Dubai used Madinat Jumeirah, but the 2026 venue has not been stated on the Forum's page.
