glasstec 2026 will be held at Messe Duesseldorf from 20 to 23 October, daily from 09:00 to 18:00, in halls 10 to 17 and the outdoor area. The biennial international trade fair for the glass industry is organised by Messe Duesseldorf and covers the full value chain from glass manufacturing and processing to architecture and finished products.
The 2026 edition names artificial intelligence and digital technologies, decarbonisation and the circular economy as its hot topics. A glasstec conference and the glass technology live special show run alongside the exhibition halls and present research and prototypes from universities and industry partners.
The event matters to executives because glass sits at the intersection of the energy transition, construction and advanced manufacturing, and glasstec is where the chief executives of glass makers, machinery suppliers, facade companies and their industrial customers negotiate capacity, technology and supply agreements. Heads of procurement at automotive, solar and construction groups attend alongside the leadership of the glass producers.
