Mike Kuehnel

Mike Kuehnel served as Chief Executive Officer of Flow Traders from February 2023 until August 2025, leading the publicly listed electronic liquidity provider. During his tenure, Kuehnel was instrumental in strengthening the firm by enhancing its position as a leading globally diversified trading firm, and initiated the Trading Capital Expansion Plan in 2024, which contributed to the firm's second-best financial year in its 20-year history.

Kuehnel brings over twenty years of investment banking and strategy consulting experience in the global financial market infrastructure space. Prior to Flow Traders, he served as a partner at Bain & Company leading the Investment Banking and Financial Markets Infrastructure practice for EMEA, and before that worked at Goldman Sachs advising on large-scale equity and M&A transactions in the European banking, insurance, asset management, private wealth and exchanges sectors.
