DBS Bank Taiwan is the Taiwanese subsidiary of DBS and the largest foreign bank in the market by assets. Its scale followed the completion in 2023 of the acquisition of the Taiwan consumer banking business of Citigroup, which more than doubled consumer customers to over 1.1 million. The unit serves both institutional clients and a large retail and wealth customer base.
