Tomomi Shige

Tomomi Shige, CFA, joined Allspring Global Investments in July 2026 as Representative in Japan and Senior Sales Director, where he leads the company's Tokyo office and is responsible for distribution and client relationships across Japan. He has nearly 30 years of industry experience, with 16 years in investment management and 14 years in client-facing roles. Shige brings an impressive track record in building deep client partnerships in both institutional and wholesale markets.

Shige earned a bachelor's degree in policy management with emphasis in financial engineering from Keio University in Tokyo and a master's degree in wealth management from Lee Kong Chian School of Business at Singapore Management University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a chartered member of the Security Analysts Association of Japan.
